01 Overview
jswnth.com is the personal site and portfolio of Jaswanth, a web developer based in Kuwait. This policy covers what happens to your information when you visit this site, fill in the booking slip on the home or contact page, or write in directly.
It doesn’t cover the separate agreements made with clients once a project starts — those are handled in writing, project by project.
02 What gets collected
This site doesn’t run visitor tracking or ad pixels. The only information collected is what you choose to type into the booking slip:
- Name and, optionally, a company
- Email address
- What the enquiry is about and the note you write
- A rough budget band and timeline, if you pick one
Submitting the slip opens your own email client with that text pre-filled — it’s sent from your inbox, to hello@jswnth.com, the same as writing an email by hand. Nothing is stored on a server in between; there’s no database behind this site.
03 How it’s used
Solely to read your enquiry, reply, and — if a project goes ahead — keep the correspondence needed to deliver the work. It’s never sold, rented, or handed to a third party for marketing.
04 Cookies & local storage
No cookies are set for tracking or advertising. A handful of pages use your browser’s own localStorage purely for interface convenience — remembering a preference on a component, for instance — and that data never leaves your device or reaches me.
05 Third-party services
A few external services are loaded to run the site itself:
- Google Fonts, for the typefaces — your browser requests these directly from Google’s servers, which sees the request the same as it would for any font-hosted site
- The hosting/CDN provider serving these pages, which sees standard server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) as any web server does
None of these are used to build a profile of you or to serve ads.
06 Data retention
Since enquiries arrive as ordinary email, they’re kept only as long as any other email — generally until the conversation or project is done, then cleared out during normal inbox housekeeping.
07 Your rights
You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time — write to hello@jswnth.com and I’ll sort it out directly, no form required.
08 Children’s privacy
This site is a professional portfolio and isn’t directed at children. It doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
09 Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change with it. Checking back here is the way to stay current — there’s no separate notification list.
